Official Board
- Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain the church website, the Community Contact weekly email, social media and community magazine articles, to increase visibility in the wider community.
- Print three newsletters per year
- Aide ministry staff and committees in advertising events through social media, posters and brochures.

Board of Trustees
- Supervise and maintaining both the physical property of the congregation and gifts made to the congregation so that the ministries of the congregation can be effective and all legal requirements related to the property are satisfied.

Duty of Care
The Duty of Care Program works with ministries in providing an environment that protects both the individuals receiving services and those who deliver those services.
- Responsible for maintaining security check database and ensuring security checks are up to date.

- Works as part of a team to manage and track a congregation's budget and finances.

Hospitality Committee
The Hospitality focuses on the welcome and hospitality experience of visitors and members.
- Responsible for serving coffee after service.
- Organizes and serves funeral luncheons.
- Aid in coffee service at other events planned by the church.
- Purchase supplies as needed.
Ministry and Personnel Committee
- Responsibilities include being a consultative and supportive body for members of our staff, oversee the relationships of our ministry team and staff.
- Responsible for aiding committees in the advertising, interviewing, and hiring staff as needed.
- Directly supervises office staff.
- Responsible for signing off on timesheet of non-salaried staff. The committee approves all staff holidays.
Outreach Committee
- Coordinates, supports, and promotes outreach activities.
- Selects and arranges projects to be sponsored by the congregation and is responsible for raising funds and obtaining volunteers to support these ongoing projects.
- Projects include Syrian Refugee, produce giveaway, Crescent Heights High School breakfast program, coffee before service, community programs and Christmas hampers.
- The affirming committee falls under the Outreach Committee (see below)
Affirming Committee
- Organizes events and education programs to raise awareness regarding barriers to inclusion for the LGBTQ+ Community; includes participation in Pride Parade and attendance at regional affirming meetings.
Pastoral Care Committee
- Encourages all members of the Church to offer pastoral care as it arises naturally through relationships and personal encounters on a daily and often informal basis.
- Meets monthly to talk about issues concerning the pastoral care of our congregation. The committee sees pastoral care as a way of keeping people in touch with the worshipping community: those who attend worship regularly and those who are unable to be with us on Sundays.
- The committee provides workshops and discussion to help people make informed choices on their lives.
- The committee encompasses the Homebound Ministry, Links of Love Prayer Chain, Wild Drivers, Rosedale Hospice (Prayer Shawls), and the Lay Bereavement Visitation Team
Properties and Facilities Committee
- Responsible for the maintenance, upkeep, and repairs of all church buildings and grounds.
- Evaluates current needs with regard to church properties, planning for future development and proper care and maintenance of all church buildings and grounds.
Stewardship Committee
- Carries out the Stewardship Appeal of time, talent, and treasure on an annual basis.
Worship Committee
- Responsible for the Ministry of Worship, including the Ministry of Music.
- Committee includes: the minister, choir director and members of the congregation.
- Responsible for pulpit supply when the minister is absent.
- Responsible in making sure services nurture and enhance the congregation’s worship life.
- Responsible for ushers, greeters, sanctuary, and banners.
Official Board
- Responsible for governing the affairs of Wild Rose United Church through leadership and by implementing the wishes of the congregation.
- Overarching responsibility to develop and implement a long term strategic plan and policies for the well-being of Wild Rose United Church with the support and involvement of the committees.
- Ensures that the committees, boards, groups, representatives, and elected and non-elected positions carrying out the duties and responsibilities assigned to them in accordance with the mission of the church.
- Ensures the funds of the church are maintained in a responsible manner and that annual financial statements are prepared and distributed to all congregation members.
- The Official board includes: Chair, Vice Chair, Past Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, Minister and Duty of Care
