​Rev. Linda Hunter is the minister of Wild Rose United Church. She leads the congregation with compassion, wisdom, and a deep commitment to spiritual growth. As a dedicated spiritual leader, Rev. Hunter is known for her engaging sermons, community outreach, and efforts to create an inclusive and welcoming environment at the church. Her role includes guiding the church's mission, supporting members in their faith journey, and fostering a strong sense of community among the congregation.
​Welcome Back Fall LuncheonFall is a season of new beginnings, fresh ideas, and renewed community! Join us on Sunday, September 13th, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for our Welcome Back Fall Luncheon at Wild Rose United Church.
This gathering is an opportunity to gather, connect, and begin visioning the future at Wild Rose. Enjoy some food, reconnect with friends, meet new faces, and share your hopes and ideas as we look toward what’s next for our church community.
We are also pleased to welcome Reverend Scott Reynolds, our visioning facilitator. Scott will help guide us as we listen to one another, explore possibilities, and begin shaping a shared vision for the future of Wild Rose.

Wild Rose Wellness Hub


WONDERFUL WELLNESS WEDNESDAY WALKS, AUTUMN 2026
Late Summer and early Autumn can be some of the most pleasant times to walk, not too hot, not too cold and unlikely to have mud or ice and snow underfoot. Autumn flowers and colourful leaves may add to the enjoyment; see the photo below.
Walking is very good for physical, mental and spiritual health. Exploring the city on foot, makes us feel more connected; more at home. There is no cost for these walks and no obligation to attend consistently. The leaders will be careful to ensure that the pace is not too strenuous for those in attendance. Starting points can usually be reached after a short drive or bus ride. Carpooling can be arranged.
Walks begin at 10:00 am. Please contact Dora DiLullo-Patten, Judy Bergeson or Charlie Moore through the church office to be added to the list to receive details on the next walk or to ask questions,

WE WARMLY WELCOME
BARBARA RODRIGUES, MSW, RSW
a clinical and mental health therapist, who has generously offered her services to our community of faith.Barbara brings a wealth of experience from her work at the Calgary Counselling Centre and in family practice medical clinics with Alberta Health Services. She has kindly volunteered to meet with individuals within our faith community and beyond who are seeking professional support with family relationships, domestic violence, stress-related mental health concerns, and more.
Barbara will hold office hours at Wild Rose on Tuesdays from 1:00 to 4:00 pm. Her services are offered at no charge, though donations to support the ongoing ministry of Wild Rose are gratefully accepted.

Shopping Cards Available – NEW!
A variety of shopping cards (including Safeway, Starbucks, Shell, and many more) are now available to order. Please see Alma Rachansky in Wild Rose Hall after Sunday services or contact Christina in the church office to receive an order form.
Whether you're shopping for yourself or purchasing cards for family and friends, every purchase helps support Wild Rose United Church. The church receives between 2% and 10% of the value of each card as a commission, at no extra cost to you.
ALSO! Calgary Co-op shopping cards remain available and can be purchased directly from the church office or from Alma after Sunday services. The church receives 5% of the value of each card, while you still enjoy the full value to spend. Many other gift cards can also be purchased at Co-op stores using your Co-op gift card.
