Greetings! We are new to Wild Rose United Church and wanted this chance to introduce ourselves! You already know many of us. We sit beside you in the pews of Wild Rose and we, along with some other interested folks, have begun a journey. We are a diverse group of individuals who have come together, trying to live out the “Calls to Action” stemming from the Truth and Reconciliation Commission report. Our circle is striving to understand our painful past and move forward into respectful relationships with Indigenous peoples. We have just begun. Our understanding and our experiences are varied. But we have a common desire to learn about each other and about the First Peoples who welcomed many of our families to this land. We hope to share stories, activities and events that will help us all to live together in Right Relations. Come and join us on this journey as we learn and love together.
