Sunday morning programs are designed for different ages of children and teens to explore faith stories and issues in age-appropriate ways.
Nursery
Babies, children and youth are always welcome in worship. We know and accept that they can make a little noise with their energy and needs. Sunday mornings during worship Wild Rose offers programs designed for different ages of children and teens to explore faith stories and issues in age-appropriate ways. Babies and toddlers can be settled in our Nursery before worship. Older children programming begins partway through worship.
There is a supervised Nursery where babies to three year old can play while their parents have some “me” time to nourish their spirituality in worship. Parents can leave little ones before worship and pick them up after, or bring them to the Nursery at any time during worship. Rest assured that if you are in worship and your child is crying and needs you, someone will summon you to the Nursery. Please leave a phone number with the Nursery staff so they can text you if you are needed in the Nursery.

Kids' Zone
The Kids' Zone, A Spiritual Development program, is offered to children between the ages of 4 and 12 years (or the completion of grade 6) during the Sunday morning worship service from September to June. Children are welcome to begin at any time and parents can register their children at any point in the year.
This program strives to introduce children to some of the basic building blocks of the Christian Spiritual Path as that path is known and lived through the United Church of Canada. The philosophy of the Kids' Zone includes:

- Children are spiritual beings who already enjoy a deep connection to the Divine Dimension some of us have learned to call, God.
- The sacred stories of the Jewish and Christian traditions provide us with glimpses into the ways these people have articulated their understanding of God and their relationship to that dimension.
- We pass along these stories to our children to help them develop a spiritual vocabulary of images: both sights and sounds, which will help them to understand their own experiences as they mature. And to know that THEY MATTER!
